The mysterious and elusive smalleye stingray (Dasyatis microps) is one the largest stingray species in the world, growing to a width of 7.2 ft (2.2 m). Although found across the Indian ocean, it has only been seen alive off the coast of Mozambique. | photographed at Giant’s Castle Reef, Tofo, Mozambique, by CJ Coetzee | +
